We deeply regret to announce that, due to various circumstances
(primarily financial constraints), CPS will withdraw from the Kobe
University Integrated Research Center at the end of this fiscal year
(March 31, 2026) and will also cease to operate as an official
organization under the Graduate School of Science. This workshop will
serve as the final official meeting of CPS, which has promoted various
collaborations in research and education activities related to
planetary science.
This workshop, serving as the final project for CPS, was planned with
the hope that it would provide an opportunity for each participant to
think about the future -- such as how to carry forward planetary
science in Japan, while recalling the ideas we had regarding the
promotion of planetary science at the time CPS was launched around
2007, as well as the subsequent developments and various practical
endeavors since then.
The program details are still undecided, but we are considering
inviting those who are able to provide multifaceted perspectives on
the current state or future developments in planetary science.
As usual, remote participation will be available. However, we would
greatly appreciate it if you could make the effort to attend in person
at the Kobe University Integrated Research Center venue, and enjoy..
