| Abstract |
Probing the origin of elements and galaxy evolution can deepen our understanding of the planetary formation and the origin of life. Elemental abundances and kinematics of stars in the Milky Way and its satellite dwarf galaxies reflect galaxies' evolutionary histories. However, we have not yet understood when and how galaxies are evolved and how each nucleosynthetic event reflects stars' elemental abundances. Simulations of galaxies may resolve these issues. In this talk, I will discuss the effects of each nucleosynthetic site, such as supernovae and binary neutron star mergers, on the elemental abundances of stars using simulations of galaxies. Based on this, I will show the prospects of large-scale galaxy formation simulations and discuss how such simulations can connect studies of galaxies and planets. |
