Abstract |
Samples returned from the asteroid Itokawa are important to investigate surface modification produced during the exposure to the interplanetary space. In this talk, I would like to talk especially on the surface modification caused by solar wind and solar cosmic rays and compare them with the irradiation experiments of an ordinary chondrite as well as some lunar samples. In addition, I would like to touch on-going irradiation experiments on a simulant of the asteroid Ryugu. |
