Structural change in amorphous silicate before crystallization

Abstract	In order to examine the crystallization process of interstellar dust, XRD and IR spectra of amorphous MgSiO3 with different annealing conditions were measured. The annealed sample which do not occur any crystallization, showed different spectra from unheated sample. As heating it for longer time, these spectra recover its original feature, and then it changed by crystallization. This indicates that structure of the amorphous silicate should change and relax before its crystallization.
