Title: "Towards unraveling the origins and orbital changes of the Solar System within the Milky Way"
Abstract: Where in the Milky Way was our solar system born, and how has its orbit evolved to its current position? To answer these fundamental questions, an understanding of the Milky Way's structure, along with its formation and evolutionary processes, is essential. The Milky Way, being a barred spiral galaxy, poses challenges in fully comprehending its entirety, especially from our vantage point within it. The data from the Gaia satellite, operational since 2014, has significantly enhanced our understanding of the galaxy. In this presentation, I will focus on our team's research, highlighting the advancements made in deciphering the structure of the Milky Way, with a special emphasis on its spiral and barred structures. Additionally, I will discuss recent research findings on the birthplace and orbital migration of the solar system.
