| Title: |
On the challenge of simulating the early Mars environment(s) with climate models and lab experiments

 |
| Abstract: |
There is now compelling evidence and widespread agreement that liquid water flowed on the surface of early Mars, at least episodically.
In my presentation, I will review the recent efforts - using sophisticated 3-D Global Climate Model simulations as well as laboratory experiments - we have made with my colleagues at the LMD (Paris, France) to better constrain the environment of early Mars, at the time liquid water was flowing on the surface of Mars.
