LOC is sorry but the IVC2018 is Cancelled because of the Earthquake in the early morning of 6th hit at Iburi, Hokkaido. SOC/LOC are now planning to postpone the conference in the near future.

Due to the powerful earthquake and its aftermath (including blackout) in Hokkaido, Japan, the International Venus Conference planned for September 2018 (IVC2018) had to be postponed. The conference has been rescheduled for 31 May - 3 June 2019 so it is renamed as IVC2019. The location will be the same as IVC2018 (Niseko, Hokkaido) and the Fujihara Foundation of Science kindly remains as the major sponsor of IVC2019 ("The 74th Fujihara Seminar").

The IVC2019 is the successor of previous series of Venus conferences (La Thuile, Aussois, Sicily, and Oxford), and will be organized by the Akatsuki team and the community in Japan. The conference is intended to cover all areas of Venus science with special focus on new results obtained from Japan's Venus Climate Orbiter "Akatsuki". Results from previous missions, from ground-based observations, numerical computations, and theoretical works are all welcome.
